Since 1873, the year Colts was founded, to the year 2021, the opening of the new clubhouse, these grounds have echoed with the cheers of legendary matches and the camaraderie of sporting history; producing legendary cricketers throughout the years.
In the year 2026, Mr. Srimal Wickremasinghe and Mr. Chamara Chandrasekera founded NinetyNine to preserve the rich legacy of the Cricket Club and create a space where members, locals, and global travelers alike can pull up a chair and share in Colombo's unique culinary tapestry.

THE LEGACY BEHIND THE INSIGNIA:
NinetyNine owes its identity to Mr. Srimal Wickremasinghe , conceived as a living tribute to the year that shaped his vision. The name honors his graduation batch, the precise moment he stepped out of the scholarly halls of his school and into the world of elite hospitality.
Thus, NinetyNine represents the perception of eternal youth and success, where a team that stands strong together in any circumstance, be it sports, hospitality or entrepreneurship, once, united by love and respect for one another, can accomplish any formidable feat and rise victorious.
